What is the official name for this blue?

Alright guys,

Does anyone know the correct name for this Blue? Is it the shadow Blue, Laser Blue or another Blue? I cant tell because of the lights.











Any input appretiated!

The pic was took at UD last year I think. Is this anyones car on here? Any more pics or info on it would be great!

going by the first shot only, it looks like Deep Blue Pearl, but looking at the other shots i would say that it doesn't flip like the DBP does.

It's not shadow blue thats for sure

To me it looks like Moroccan Blue which is a colour used by Bentley!!!

It almost looks like Jazz blue with a pearl laquer finish to it :smiley:

It isn't a GTI, so maybe Costal Blue?

Is costal blue a standard VW colour? So do you think that it is custom?

I take back Coastal, I've just seen it and its much lighter/less purple. Was an S/SE (maybe a few more?) colour.

Most people seem to refer to this as Laser blue metallic, was the GTI pearl? Early Golf optional colour.

So I could not get this colour on a newer 1.4 tsi 122 then.
I have another question what wheels are these wheels and would they fit a mk5? I saw them at UD on the weekend.
