RNS fitting in Kent
« on: May 05, 2011, 08:10:01 pm »

Hi ,

Just purchased an RNS - Version C to replace the MFD2 in my 06 Gti.

Is there a recommended company in Kent that can fit it for me , or someone that does installs off the forums maybe.

I'll also need to update the canbus I believe so still have to get one of those.

Any advice would be greatfully received.

Thanks

Mark

Fitting is as easy as this, the CAN will need coding, have a look on the VAGCOM part of the forum some one will be near you.

I'm in Paddock Wood , I think Apollo is closest to me ( Rainham ) and would be fantastic to get it done - will drop a Pm when everything has turned up.

Just ordered a new canbus from one of the earlier links so should have that next week some time hopefully.

Thanks to everyone for all the usefull and good advice , such a great site this .

 :happy2:

Cheers Mark

Of course mate wouldnt be a problem

If you were to get an RNS510, youd definately need a can gateway upgrade. PM me and we can discuss
