Fitting after market AMP to mk5......
« on: May 10, 2011, 09:13:15 am »
I've been stock piling some bits for my stereo upgrade on my mk5 and wondered if there is a good guide to fitting an aftermarket amp that anyone could point me too, where to run the cables, pick up the earth, how to take trim apart etc etc.

Or if anyone has done it some useful tips and tricks.

Cheers !

Blaupunkt do a great in place amp and PnP wiring kit for the mk5 golf. Have a look on bluespot.co.uk

I think the amp is a THA375

VCDS Scanning/Coding, RNS and MDI retrofits, and specialist mechanics services with VAGtek available - Just PM me for details.

Had one of those in my M3 was good, but I've got a nice Phoenix Gold one that I want to put in so will need to wire it in the traditional old school way !

Really easy fitting an aftermarket headunit, amp, subs etc...

If you need a guide or anything just send us a pm, shud take no longer than 2hours to run all you power cables, rca's, remote and eath cable...
If you're having Audio problems i feel bad for ya son... I've got 99 problems but Bass aint one!
