hi RR
yes the lowers do work the shift nicely enough!
but i hardly ever use that part if i,m honest.....but yep paddle shift is so much more enjoyable to use and i used to fairly lazy, now i find i,m manually shifting so much more hahaha
and they are sturdy plastic!-very tactile to use!!

.
I notice that there's very little paddle on the lower extensions - I know that the uppers are most frequently used but do those lower parts work okay?

What's the black material? Rubber or plastic?

Paddle extensions make a huge difference don't they  :happy2:

Thats one thing i have wondered about. When corning one of your hands is often on the 7 or 4 o'clock position.  :popcornsoda:

I drive 24/7 in manual mode using paddles.

Except in traffic jams when my arthritic legs get a rest....  :popcornsoda:

....I try to avoid changing gear while in a corner but have never had a problem with paddle extensions. Your brain soon automatically programs where to place your fingers. *Cough* Hey, Imogen, come over here.

Might be a blonde moment but..... Do these just fit over the existing paddles or do you have to take the OEM ones off cheers in advance

Look nice. Though think that they would look better if there was more chrome on the steering wheel like on the MK6 multi function ones. :happy2:
