Love the one in Renfrewshire that states "totally original" but the pictures show the car with crap stickers slapped on in odd places   and no mention of transmission, inside, spec, options, tyres....

Etto but he would stand a better chance of sale if he put detail in the ad and got out the soap and hot water.

Each to their own of course but I really don't understand anyone who enjoys driving a Mk5 GTI, or Ed30, getting worried about racking up their mileage. Where's the enjoyment if you don't drive it!?

Here here RR.

A lot of people on here just buy to have it but not drive it.

If you love driving them you wouldn't keep seeing posts like this about mileage.

The Touran has done 120k now and ok its not like the ED30 but its still fun if i'm caught out in on the way home from work and its empty and nice.

TBH that doesn't feel much different to the day we bought it.

I have not driven mine for 2 weeks now but there is a reason for that and all we be apparent in the reviews section soon, its an improvement that ensures mine feels like it did and as I plan to keep it the expense is worth it.

Likewise - anything specific to look out for on the ed30 over a normal GTi?

That white ed30 is not to far from me! I might go for a wee look at the weekend! Overpriced though!
