Something happen thats was reallt strange the light oil came on the dash i went to see the oil of the car, my suprise the car was dry no oil, offcourse i stop and bougth some oil fyrst of all why the light only came out wend was tottaly empty then is no oil dripping from the bottom or the top of the engine and is no white/blue smoke from the exhaust i went to the VW dealer shop they connect with the computer and he told me that was some tube connecting the turbo that is strange if in my garage i never saw oil dripping so my question where the oil went a new car (2007) should not mess oil like that, next wendsday it goes back to the shop. I let you guys know what was the problem.

The GTI is known for its oil consumption. VW expect the car to use as much as 1 litre every 600 miles. I've never had the warning light come on but quite a few fellow forumites have found there to be almost no oil when the light comes on.

The main is why haven't you been checking your oil levels on a weekly basis? Along with checking fluid levels and tyre pressures? :innocent:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

You right mate i should check more frequently any way the car wednsdays its gonna be check by VW and gonna do a full service transmission oil, filters, spark plugs ect
