Most diesels apparently work with the kufatec variant

VCDS Scanning/Coding, RNS and MDI retrofits, and specialist mechanics services with VAGtek available - Just PM me for details.

Some companies like TurboPerformance in Germany do modifications to the engine ECU
to deliver boost pressure to CAN bus. So it's possible. I don't really need it though.

So that said, the EMFA is a more accurate speed than the clocks?

Aye that what I mean - the clocks will show 90, but the EMFA will show like 82/83 so im not sure where it reads its speed from

The E-MFA displays the CAN speed. The CAN speed is the real speed only affected by
(small) tolerances caused by slightly different tyre circumferences.

The E-MFA is more accurate than my Becker GPS. I bet it's even more accurate than any commercial GPS.
We compared it several times with a Performance Box and the E-MFA was very close to it. Much more
close than the Becker GPS.

The reason: standard GPS only have 1 Hz, the Performance Box has 10 Hz and the E-MFA detects the
wheel speed.

I don't want to miss the easy to read and correct speed, voltage, oil temp and water temp anymore.
I'm very happy with it. The most satisfying item of my car.  :happy2:

In reality the E-MFA is much more accurate than the pseudo-accurate satelite navigations for car use.
Military GPS uses at least 10 Hz and more exact navigation data material. Commercial GPS can not be true !!

Just found this amazing product. I think its the opposite way round for boost readings, works with GTI and not TDI!

Looks awesome!

That one uses the OBDII port not the canbus, so you need to have it connected constantly to you port down by the pedals.

The issue with the boost is that either system uses can bus system for the data the ECU doesnt send it out over the can bus it cant be read so both systems will be affected by the same limitations so I would take the list as for both unless one of them comes up with a work around to get the info over the canbus.

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC

To Come...NQSBBK, highline CCM.

I have always wanted this as well, but due to having OEM bluetooth havent been able too so the one using the telematic screen is of interest, doesnt state if it shows the corrected speed unfortunately.

Dario do you have any pictures or video of yours working and functions it can display for example the corrected speed?  Also which supplier did you use?

hy sorry didnt receive mine yet ,ordered it on monday ,from the polar team page ,when it comes i will take pictures and video ,there are a few vids on YT demonstrating the fis in skoda octavia
REVO ST2+ Edition30 -sold

Yeah I did a bit of reading about it. From what I understand they basically have an algorithm that uses the outputs from the odbII to get the boost value. If it works fine for TDI id prefer that tbh over the kufatec e-mfa

I was looking into this as an upgrade following the step to OEM bluetooth and thought against it due to the incompatibilities i'd read about, however, it now turns out that the fiscon bluetooth kits have the E-MFA together with the bluetooth in one little box and i think i'll be heading down that route!

just a heads up, because up until recently i was unaware of the included features (the E-MFA) of the fiscon bluetooth!
MK6 GT TDI  - CW - LUX pack

If you have already installed OEM bleutooth then the polar FIS will work but the kufatec uses the telephone screen, for that reason (already have the OEM phone) will be going down the Polar route once the highline is retro fitted.  Also seems they have plans for further development of the unit and you can program buttons to skip tracks and volume adjustment while viewing the additional information.
