It's a custom job. Very long story to post here but I'm having to replace an arm that goes between a mount and the gearbox as it had snapped off the gearbox. I also need to replace the mount itself. On the TDI it's the one that the transmission mount sits on top of. Parts of that had disintegrated as well. Just got a piece of steel that I'm bending into place :) otherwise I'd have to replace the gearbox, which I don't fancy doing!

I reckon I might have it sorted before the RR day, I just didn't want to remain on the list and have it so some one can't do a run and me not turn up!

If I had the money I'd have a map done, my MPG is half of what it used to be with this map and it's really pissing me off. Strangely, it's worse in WARM weather. Full WOT in 2nd returns 9 mpg on the instantaneous readout...

If it looks like no one will fill my spot, I'd like to stay on. I reckon I will have it sorted before Saturday.

Its my b/day in September so looking to purchase one, seen the k&n and pipercross one's on the bay for around £35 but I don't know what if any benefits there are between them?? the K&N looks to be some kind of mesh with a material inside where has the pipercross is foam with a cross hatch  pattern on, does one breath better than the other or are they both the same in performance???

I am now going to have to pull out after some idiot pushed a sack trolley past the rear of my car today at work - scraping the paint off the boot and rear bumper.
Im not a happy bunny - only knew about it after I heard someone talking about it.
