« on: May 25, 2011, 01:30:05 pm »
afternoon,

after refitting my RCD510 to stop rattling my computer midline says airbag fault when turning on the engine...

any ideas?

hopefully this can be sorted by VCDs...

Retro fitted: MFSW buttons, RCD510, Boot pop, Black Monza II, Xenons, Audi jacking points, open fog light grills.

Assuming it's all put back together correctly then yes, vcds will clear the fault code.
Without traction power is nothing!

Did you take the top piece off and disconnect the Passenger Airbag light and put the ignition on before reconnecting it?

VCDS Scanning/Coding, RNS and MDI retrofits, and specialist mechanics services with VAGtek available - Just PM me for details.
