Secure parking in London?
« on: May 24, 2011, 09:21:40 pm »
I'm travelling down to London on Sunday and rather than taking the train thought I would drive down. Can anyone suggest where is the best place to park the car for 24 hours or so? :happy2:

Its expensive too especially if your central - zone 1 etc your looking at £30-£40 a day not sure on overnight rates, if your staying at a hotel ask them whats best they might have better rates etc,  or if at someone's house then park on the street most are free from 5.30/7pm till 8/9am so just make sure you move it before hand   :happy2:

Edit: mayfair is a bit different best check the signs, there is a car park at the holiday in on berkeley street and a pcp place just off park lane and another just off the square but they will not be cheap. You have guy ritchies pub and some nice restaurants, banarez if you like indian, hakasan for your asian and the square for your french stuff, plus a bentley, rolls royce and porcshe garage to peruse, Its a different world

I'm stopping in the holiday inn at Mayfair, I may give them a call to see if they have any parking arrangements! Steve has given me one place to try too!

Cheers James, yeah it's pretty cool round there but it's the first time I've thought about driving down there, wasn't sure if they had there own parking or not. My wife has emailed them to find out :happy2: am I right in thinking that if we are down there sunday and come back Monday I won't have to pay the CC?
