RNS 510 screen protector
« on: May 25, 2011, 09:26:41 pm »
I recently removed my protector to re-align it and managed to get a finger print on it so decided to wash it. It came up nice and clean but I don't know how to dry it without leaving streaks. Any tips? It's only £6 for a new one but I'm curious to know for the future. ( I should have left it alone, it was only out by a gnat's pube !)

Regards,

John

Hi Damien,
I got it via Amazon from a German company called FoliX, just type in RNS etc on Amazon page and it comes up with a few. Mine was £5.49 delivered.

Regards,

John

Interesting. How does it affect the touch screen "feel"? Would you know it's there or is it like a phone screen protector?

I'm not sure how a phone one feels so can't compare on that, this however feels quite normal to me and the HU just responds as you would want it to. There's an anti dazzle version listed which I'll get next time to counter some of the glare the Eos suffers with the roof down, might be useful for those with sun roof too.

Regards,

John
