Never mind the ridiculous OTT price! Pass the eye bleach for the hideous wheels, aftermarket xenons and carbon overload...

This has been advertised for a couple of months now, based in edinburgh. When i spoke to the guy, it was described as immaculate, but when looking at teh pictures he sent me, the two alloys i had picturews of, where heavily marked, but referred to as having a small mark on. Also the edge of a sideskirt has paint oeeling off. The centre part of the dash has been painted silver which caused concern as to why? No other Ed30 i have seen has had this done. Originally this was advertised for £16,800, then dropped to £15,800 on trader. He said he couldnt afford to let it go for anything less than £15.5k, but the major issue for me was 4 previous owners. He had only bought the car in Oct 2010, explained that they were moving to australia in november this year, so it needed to go. Other adverts had stated new house move as teh reason to sell so soon.

It is a shame as it is the perfect spec

It doesn't matter how much glitter you sprinkle on it, a turd is still a turd.

Whats wrong with 4 owners? My 17650 mile 2007 ed30 has had 3 and now me. Full vw history is all that should come into it. The first owner of mine was a car broker and had mine and another and only kept them both for 6 months total , mine for less than 3 months.

Im not saying there is anything wrong with numbers of owners, but sometimes a car changes hands very quickly due to it being abit of a lemon.

Back to the one owner please . What is the right money £19500 is wrong imho. I have told the guy I would be interested but the silly wheels and mats can stay with him .I have some spare Pescaras and mats .

I would remove the Cameras Wheels,Mats , Aerial, Nav, Carbon,in fact all non std parts  i said he could have them all back for free . £16k with all the parts removed

What do you think it would cost for RNS510+729B+Highline+ MFSW+OEM Aerial +rear camera boot latch replace the silly carbon trims £1500.

It is one owner and only 7300 miles , I cant decide on the mk6 ed35  the ed30 is what i have been waiting for just without the crap on it, could i return this to stock easy enough or do you think the guy has drilled holes and butched it?.

I wouldn't give More than 13.5k for it.  Given what needs spending on it.  It is getting towards the end of it's warranty Sept 11, £1k worth of wheels/tyres to be bought, and a fair bit of trim/ radio etc to put back to OEM.

White will lose it appeal soon, and the fashion will be another colour.

Also is would be dubious as it its modding history, has it been mapped?  Highly likely because it has been covered in glue and driven through Halfords.

But not my cash.  Link for anyone wishing to see the car.
