Was at Bonhams Auction at the Aston workshop in Newport Pagnell today.

What recession!!

Barn find 1963 DB4 Convertible, went for £280,000  YES £280,000





Another complete bucket, 1964 DB5 went for £255,000





Simon Le Bon's old motor, £78,000



1971 DBR2 Recreation, £90,000





1957 DB MkIII, £48,000



1990 Vantage Volante,  £100,000

Great collection of photos there.  £280,000 plus restoration costs.

I do like a nice Aston Martin. I had a tour of the plant and design studio at Gaydon.
They also had a display of historic Astons

I've been picking up some Automobilia bits and fancied an old DB5/6 wooden steering wheel, but just went for silly money (£4,200). lots of interesting bits their but anything remotely related to 007 gets stupid money.

It was worth it for the Photos and sound of the car park though  :happy2:
