Finally time for some updates on this one.

Things have stalled a bit over the last couple of months and I lost a bit of love for the car and APR Stage 3 kit. The repairs after the rod incident took longer than I hoped and when I got the car back it wasn't 100% right. I was going to do my normal thing and rush into having some more work done, I am glad I took a bit of time out to refocus on things again.

The result is the car is all back together properly thanks to KPM  :notworthy: and today I took the car back to APR HQ to meet Joel and Zach (fresh off a plane this morning from the States) to update the calibration on the stage 3 file.

A before dyno run was completed which showed the engine was running as well as before rod-gate

Then Joel got to work on improving things, and the end result a nice increase in the mid range with good gains on peak BHP and Torque.

And an overlay for three runs from today

And the result on the road, a much more eager car then now feels like the step up from a K04 I was looking for.

Just need to find a spare TFSI head now so I can get that shipped to APR US so the rest of the power can be gained from the turbo and fuel upgrades

Keith did that on the screen on the dyno, top end on yours with the WMI had the legs but mid range on mine now was slightly more  :happy2:

 :congrats:

That has been a while since "Rod-gate" but looks like it has been more than worth the time and patience Steve. Can't wait to see the next step.
