What is the finish on the ITG, mine is just plain silver.  Had one of the early kits

Black powder coat, it's the standard for all the production kits now  :happy2:

I missed out there then :-(

Yep sorted on the standard arms and balljoints by using some rack stops, turns out VWR had seen this before  :rolleye:

Going to see if I can find some later reversion GTI hubs and retry the TT arms again soon, however now the diff is working properly the handling is truely awesome now, make sure you bring your helmet to Coombe  :driver:

Battery relocation done  :happy2:

Also fitted the RVC to go with the RNS-510 and finally sorted an intermittent fault on the accelerator pedal so the car is now running 100% and ready for inters  :jumpmove:

Great work

How long did it take you to route the cable?  Was it a W*nker to get through the bulkhead?  Would like a lightweight battery.

Once I took the glove box out so I could be 100% sure where the cable was being routed it wasn't too bad, I would say a 2-3 hours work.

Got a trickle charger on order as these batteries don't like going flat but the starting power seams no different even with everything electrical on switched on  :happy2:

I put the kit together myself, I should be fitting it this weekend and if everything is correct I will post a list of parts I ordered  :happy2:

Brilliant that would be great.

Did you consider braille battery?  If so why did you choose varley?

I did consider the Braille and Odyssey but could see no major difference between them and the Varley had good reviews and was offered at a better discount from Demon Tweaks with my new seats order  :happy2:
