Is that welded up to stiffen the chassis? or to remove the wheel well?

Both and to remove a bit more weight.

Diet next up then Steve ?  :P  :signLOL:

Thanks, the rear bumper (the diffuser is integrated) is my favourite as you don't see hardly any cars in the UK with this kit  :happy2:

Car's looking great Steve :happy2: is that rear bumper all one piece? and is it a genuine thunder bunny one? never seen it on another car before

Can't book anything until I know how long the current phase of mods is going to take, then it's booked in elsewhere for some more power and noise related upgrades

I missed you by a few mins yesterday, saw you heading down the A43 about 5mins after I left KPM.

That's bloody typical, we had a mc d's on the way out on the a43. When you say you're having upgrades with regards to the noise you don't mean louder do you, you were flagged at Bedford for noise or is it to tame the noise a little? I forgot to ask you pal is there a reason behind fitting the battery in the boot instead of just putting it back in the engine bay? Kev mentioned silverstone on the 23rd, do you think you'd be attending that one?

The battery was relocated to allow for the bigger intake.

Will check on the 23rd as that might be a good one, prices are high at Silverstone though.

Bedford has a low limit and was more down to driving close the noise monitor at full chat

I am already doing trax so will probably leave my Silverstone trip until then.

The intake is good, a bit quieter than the open filter ITG but seams to be performing better with a sharper response than before, need to log it properly to confirm though  :happy2:

Once I know how long Kev will need the car to finish the current plans I will see what track days fit.

Were gonna need the car for a bit longer, Tried to call earlier steve, were gonna have to take more of the chassis leg away than previously discussed, it's just that W12 lump is just too wide for the golf.

Hey you wish it was havin a w12 lump! Besides we've seen the results with a heavy lump like that can't corner for sh*t even with top of the range suspension. Best off stickin a 1.2 fsi in ha!

If you remove the cage you have fitted, it drop in just nicely behind his seats.   I say that in Jest but Steve has probably thought about i'm sure.  :driver:
