I am running 240 wide slicks in wheel bags and these fit with about 1.5 inches to spare either side and as the wheels sit down low they don't move at all  :happy2:

I am on the look out for a third set of TD's so will need another crazy colour soon as well

Hot Pink? Neon blue? Lemon yellow?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Nath told about your project and this thread over this weekend, just spent an hour and a half reading!

Awesome car, can't wait to see it, your attention to detail is mind blowing!

Dropped the car off at KPM on the way home from Tracks for Kev and Simon to work their magic once more fitting the new clutch.

To say my old one had seen better days would be an understatement  :surprised:

I think it got a bit hot

And looks like the mice have been eating the clutch plate edge

Only got a few miles on the South Bend kit but it feels soooooo much better, pedal isn't much firmer than before and the SMF isn't as noisy as I expected either. The way the clutch now engages it much more positive and more direct, full review to follow as Snetterton on Thursday

You will be able to add a bit of power now to give yourself a chance on track days.  :rolleye:

mine slipped a bit again when the track was bone dry in the last sesh...and the damn clutch pedal was sticking again just like it did at Bedford and Combe.

A little more boost had been added to the settings on the Revo SPS+ ready for testing so should be driving at 7/10th when following bath tubs rather than 8/10ths  :P :P
