My mate has a genuine 500hp 1.8T which is bored out to roughly 2.1L - it's both hilarous and utterly unusable.
Sideways yo!

I guess the downsides of a stroked TFSI is even more torque and less revability. I suppose neither of which you are aiming for unless you are.

It would be an animal.  :scared:

Agreed it would be an animal

I think the stage 3+ spec it will come out of APR with this time which will make the most of the turbo and the extra low pressure fuelling will be enough for a FWD car, and more and I will have to seriously consider chucking some more driveshafts on

i found a very interesting thread the other day regarding more driveshafts. looks far too easy not to be done, ill post it up if your intrested

^^^ Yep have investigated it and given I already have the spare wheel well removed it would be pretty straight forward on mine, plus I might have sourced the key parts already

Hi Steve,

Simon @ Vagco Doncaster (I do believe he used to work for KPM ) has fitted many many gti's with 4 wheel drive running gears. Not sure if contacting him would interest you, but if you'd like his number feel free to send me a PM.

there's a couple of cars here in Denmark going for the Citris GTX3071R kit, and also a couple going 4 WD in the near future. Both Cupra's and perhaps a Golf  :innocent:

Over the top mod list ;o)

Ahh yeah... that is nuts.  :signLOL:

Makes me laugh that it looks like a factory 5 dr 1.8T.  :noteworthy:

(sorry for the thread spam)
