Any chance you could explain the figures to a novice like me, looks like wheel horsepower drops? Drag increases with engine power?

It's all Witchcraft these dyno's so I am none the wiser than you  :laugh: :laugh:

Can't wait for the next phase to commence now. Thanks to KPM a spare TFSI head has been found so off to APR HQ in the US it goes for some bhp fairy dust to be sprinkled on it  :driver: :driver:

Losses do seem high.  Keith doesnt usually have the corrected power on high mode so the actual is generally the same as the corrected.

How does the whp compare to Dans whp?

That's a point .... The correction isn't Din 70020 which is what most MAHA dynos use??

Looking at TFSI Mikes graph from Marlin dyno he had 276 at the wheels!

Just reading up on correction factors...SAE is American but seems to be as accurate if not more than Din 70020!

So for extra 18 HP at the wheels, you've got 41 more from drive train losses!

Hey everyone!

I'll show more graphs tomorrow. Using Din corrected more than sae.

The biggest reason for the high drivetrain losses were the iats.

Roughly, dans was 42 without meth, 31 with meth and Steve's was 59!!!

Our dyno reads production stage 3's at 37x, stock s3's at 268 and lots of others at what's expected or same as marlin's.

It's used for cal and power verification for the VW Cup so it has to read the same as marlin's and is meticulously maintained by Maha UK (they will be there in the morning even, 4th visit since it was installed checking and updating).  :happy2:

close to 500bhp. like the sound of that :party:

keith get a stage 3 kit on the R so we can see the diffrences between fwd/awd :evilgrin:
