Ash's P10YRS, Mk5 GTI Build Thread.
« on: March 12, 2009, 10:08:39 pm »
Hello,

i thought id best make a thread instead of keep posting in the newbie section.. This is my second car previously owned a mk5 golf 1.6 sport when i was 17 which i loved. This is the first time modding a car and love it so far, very adictive tho! Heres goes my build thread...

Mods so far.
Alpine double din headunit
G - Werks re-map
Colour coded side skirts
colour coded rear top half bumper
Smoothed front bumper
USA front grill with Gold line 2 match wheels
Satin Black bagdes front and back
Satin Black wing mirrors
KW V1 Coilovers
KW Adjustable top mounts
powerflex dog bone mount bushes
WALK anti lift kit
Works VS XX wheels 8.5x19

pics from my 1st show and loved it....

im waiting on a regal front splitter which didnt turn up in time for ultimate dubs. Also goin to give the front a couple more degrese camber and go a lil lower.

Also goin to upgrade the stereo with..
JL Audio 10" W7
JL Audio 500/1
Focal 165 VR3
plus a amp to power the front components but havent decided on what i want yet.

This is only the start of the slippery road.. G-Werks does all my work Darren the owner is a top bloke. you can also follow he build here http://g-werks.blogspot.com/2009/03/young-player.html

Ash.

Absolutely love it mate, I was drooling over it at UD. Lovely car for your first attempt at modding  :rolleye: One thing I would change are the pink rear lights. The darkened R32 items will look a lot better  :happy2:

When I first saw the pictures I whistled out aloud because it looked good.  Then I saw the arial and thought it spoiled the car.  Not a hard thing to change, it just jumped out at me in the pictures. :happy2:
