OEM LED number plate bulbs fitted with pictures

It's all relative, I've been looking at the MK6 door switches http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,29345.0.html and think they're a bit expensive

I find with things like this that when you sell the car you can take them off and recover quite a bit of the original cost (usually about 80%+ in my experience) by selling them on, with a aftermarket LED light i doubt you would get a penny back

Great Pics, really nice upgrade, makes the rear look much crisper. However £50 is a bit expensive.

Looking forward to getting my replacement LED bulbs in the next few days. Hopefully will look as good as the whole units. Will put some pictures up as a comparison to the OEM units.

That would be great, I've read that some bulbs can be really, really bright (or not last long because of heat build-up)

Anyway, here are pics of the BMW OEM units, http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?s=773090663cdd26430977c73590a79080&t=229500 they look very similar to the VW ones with two LEDs.

Top find can't beat oem  I've had loads of cheap eBay LEDs and they blow after a couple of months so I'm back to normal filament bulbs at the momment

Gonna go with the recommendation of HIDS ones if these fail on me then I might stump up the £50  the modding bug is taking hold again must resist!!

I purchased a set of the oem LEDs last week and have been experiencing intermittent issues with them not working & producing a bulb out message via the highline.

Also sometimes they will switch off after about 10 seconds & produce no warning.

Any ideas as I'm thinking of returning them to the dealers for another set
