Wheel bearing problem?
« on: June 01, 2011, 01:00:10 am »
Hi guys,

Got a 54 GT TDI and when I'm driving there is a noise coming from the front left wheel. The tyre is wearing fast on the inside and I have been told that the problem could be due to a wheel bearing. I was wondering is this an expensive fix? As I have the car for sale and want to sort it out before I sell it.

Thanks

Sharif

The wheel bearings aren't expensive.  Is the tracking correct?

Had the car tracked as soon as I bought it :s

Does anyone know the part number of the wheel bearing?

Thanks
