black vw badge came how do i fit????

just a quick one, got a matt black vw badge for the front this morning from dubstop, how do i fit it? does the badge just clip out or do i remove the honeycomb grill??

Turn the old badge anti-clockwise 30 degrees or so and it will click then pull out. Fitting new badge is reverse.

If it doesn't want to twist then I suggest you remove the grill to get access to the clips/tabs at the badge's rear. Failure to do so my result in you breaking one or more of the retaining tabs whilst trying to remove it.

cheers for that ill have a look wen i get home at end of the week. ordered a few other bits - red gti badge & number plate surrounds, ill get a couple pics up wen fitted! :happy2:

In that case it would be easier to remove the front grille!  :happy2: It's a two minute job in itself!  :wink:
