Is it just the pictures or have they been welded to make them wider?!

If they're not welded then i'd say they are T4 Transporter Wheel as the stud pattern matches.

Are they 15"?  I didnt think 15" wheels would fit over standard GT brakes?

Just had a look at the pictures again and it looks like its stamped as 6J on the wheel and not 8J?!

If they are 15" x 6J then they will be off a Golf S

Let us know how you get on with the trial fit - imafter some steelies so it'll be useful to know  :happy2:

Cheers for all your input guys, really appreciated! Didnt want to go loosing a lot of money on these with buying tyres if they wouldnt fit! I mistook the 6j for 8j too! Im hoping they will clear my brakes which are 288mm as only the 170s and GTIs came with the larger 312mm! Wish me luck!

I hope they do fit - be cheaper for winter tyres.  I might have to go down 15" route if they fit!

Good luck  :happy2:

I read on uk mkivs i think it was, that they should fit. The car that these came off have 255mm brakes so its only an inch different! Wonder what size the space saver is?
