:surprised: actually look quite good in the pics.

Thanks, i wasnt sure on the colour when off the car but they work!

Brave , but work in my opinion :happy2:

Thanks, will probably change them after summer is over and go for something different, dull and boring probably!

Just read the whole thread. Good work mate. Interesting as I'm looking to trade my S3 in for a 140 GT TDI. Think I'll be fitting a mixture of R32 and GTI body parts and some BBS as well in the long run. It looks brilliant and fair play for having the balls to try the pink wheels.

I think the GT 140s are really good cars, especially when remapped. I dont know what else to do with it now, r32 rear possibly?! Im sure i can think of something!  :happy2:

^^^^ they should be the same if you have the 55mm struts. I dont know the code for the springs off hand as i think they are lower than the "GT" ones

Some good prices there mate

Joe, I really rate the 140 TDI. My S3 is 350bhp but in a strange way I'm looking forward to selling it and getting the GT TDI. I have always wanted a Mk5 and nearly bought the R32 before the S3. Don't get me wrong S3's are great especially when tuned but I like the idea I can have nearly 200bhp and 45+mpg. I rarely use all the power in the S3.

I must admit I have been looking at the Darkside Developments stuff though   I fancy 315bhp and 440 Lbs/ft in a Golf diesel!

I needed a car better on fuel as I do a round trip of 50miles per day. Previous car was struggling to reach 250miles to a tank on £50! I caught myself looking at the darkside stuff too when my turbo went but my insurance wouldnt cover me!  :sad1:

Very frustrating!

I think I'll end up doing it eventually but just stage 1 will do me for the 1st year or so. Need to get it looking good first.

New car....

Brooklands Capri, still running on leaded fuel!  :signLOL:

Brought it home from my Uncle's house in Birmingham who passed away a few months ago. It never missed a beat apart from brakes that are horrendous!
