I saw you were having turbos problem too. Do you mind me asking me what problems you have been having? Where did you get your turbo from? PM me if you like as any information will be helpful!  :happy2:

The first turbo went on awesome rollers, the propeller shaft hit the side of the turbo which is a common fault in the year of my car.Cost me £1200for the turbo which was from turbo dynamics..My engine has been filling the turbo with oil for some reason and making the last 2 weeks, had 4 turbos on until the garage decided to look further into

Was it the remap that made the turbo destroy itself or was it just random? (Sorry for all the questions!  :santa:)

Sorry to see this, I hope the best case scenario is just a new turbo.

I replaced mines about 18 months ago as it was wooing a lot. Got a brand new replacement from Turbo Dynamics and fitted at a local indy - was about £900 with a new feed pipe and oil change.

Starting to make wooing noises again - I always hope it is a weird trait of the TDI's then a situation like yours happens  :scared:
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Get it checked out at least to out your mind at rest! Do you know which one you bought? One is an exchange / re-conned one at £400 - £500. Then there is one at £626 or £765, These last two are the same i think?!

Everyone else thinks I'm hyper sensitive about it and say they don't hear it, maybe I'm going nuts!

I got a new 724930-5009S and it was £625 at the time.

Im neurotic about noises aswell, especially rattles. Other people might not hear it as they dont drive the car every day like you do!
