Sort of a hybrid,it will hold more boost than a standard turbo

It revved upto about 3.5k and then went pop. We pulled over and it would only rev to 2k and then turned it off and left it.

wouldnt of thought it would of sucked the oil out i know a few people that when the turbo went they rev up and wont turn off  with there cars it sucked the oil out and fubarred  them.

But if yours is still running hopefully just the turbo.

There was no oil left in the engine when the AA turned up!

Bit of an update, the car is now at the garage back home after our friend came up for it and was miles cheaper than the AA! I need to find out my engine code to make sure i get the correct turbo. Its either a GT1646V or GT1749V. I hope it isnt the first turbo as its smaller and meant to be quite limited on power levels. Il find out my engine code tomorrow when i go and see it and discuss a price (  )

If i was a little bit older so insurance wouldnt be a killer then i would! I also havent got the cash for a hybrid either!! What else do you need for say, a stage one hybrid? e.g. manifold, exhaust etc?

And dont worry, my CHs will be painted before they go back on!!  :happy2:
