NEW AUDI PARTS:   :happy2:

Since 3/2011 the Audi TT-RS comes with a new ventilation element
fitted to the lower arms.
Furthermore there are changed dust covers (which I would remove).

The parts numbers:

Luftführung 8P0 863 149 A and 150A   13,25€  vent
Deckblech 8J0 615 311 E and 312E   23,15€  dust cover
Schraube 2x N104 222 03  bolt
Mutter 2x N 907 611 02  nut
Hülse 2x 8J0 864 133 A  ??

Furthermore the RS3 usses the upper strut mounts (rubber(metal)
of the Audi TT.
I was wondering for long if the TT mounts do fit Golf and A3. Now
we know it does !!

The ball bearing remains the same. The rubber will be stiffer I bet !!
TT / TT-S / TT-RS and RS3 have much wider wheels than the regular
A3 and Golf, so that would be a logical development.

8J0 412 331 - Federbeinlagerung - 2 Stück - € 24.10 - strut mount
6N0 412 249 C - Axialrillenkugellager - 2 Stück - € 14.82 - bearing
N 910 216 01 - Sechskantbundmutter - 2 Stück - je € 1.37 - nut
N 101 277 07- Sechskantbundschraube - 6 Stück - je 69 Cent  - bolt

Possibly it will be me.

I'll get a new set of front springs.
Sachs changed the geometry and my old ones are bit rusty.
So they gonna send me a new pair for free.

When fitting the new springs of course I will do strut mounts
and bearings as well.

Install the open fog grills as well and cut a vent into the inner fender lining.

Would any of these fit to the normal MK5/Octavia arm?

Yes, of course.
You might cut it a little bit.

That's why I tell you about. ;)

There are three Mk.V/Octavia arms though + S3 + TT.
Thrre steel arms: sheet, welded, cast.

Interesting stuff  :popcornsoda:

Thinks the top mounts would be worthwhile when the original Cupra ones need changing?
