what the f**k where audi thinking?
« on: June 01, 2011, 01:18:51 pm »
The TT has been in for some work, so I got given a audi Q7 for a courtesy car. Now on the face of it you probably think whats there to complain about?

Well heres why, the Q7 I was given came with a 3.6 v6 petrol engine  :stupid:

This bloody tank drinks petrol like nothing I have ever driven before. Try to make a bit of progress and your looking at 10MPG!!!!!!

The TTRS even gets 14mpg on continual WOT runs. Driving the Q7 normally you are looking at around 19mpg and on the motorway cruising at 70mpg 24mpg.

Who in their right mind who buy a Q7 with a NA petrol engine? It would never be economical, and the 6th gear isnt tall enough for economy either! So ive come to a conclusion, its not us RS drivers who people think have a bit of money to waste on petrol etc, its the bloody petrol chelsea tractor drivers.Honestly you have to be minted to run of of those things!

Otherwise its a nice car, bit ugly like though.

Yep spoke to a crew operating out in the UAE the other week....15p per litre for unleaded .........

You'd then get irritated finding the time to fill it up for a tenner......

I have an annual arguement in the USA when I go there when they're bearing arms cos the gas price is nearly four bucks a GALLON, I simply have to explain that we pay nearly 11 bucks a gallon and they shut up, they do think Im joking when I tell them 9 bucks of that is tax and duty though.....I think they still think I was joking to this day....they'd surround the Whitehouse with burning torches and pitchforks if they tried that in the USA.....

We do have our NHS though......

Yeah bloody fookin thing. And getting it through curved width restrictions is a nightmare. 130 pounds to fill up the tank also.

Glad to have the tiTTy aRSe back, albeit missing the comfort and space for the Q7!

I'd have the 6.0 W12 TDi Q7 any day :ashamed:

But in my defence it's the only Chelsea tractor I like.

I actually really like the Q7 and came close to buying one but then thought I may as well just take all of my cash to the end of the garden and set fire to it.
