Snooper 3zero
« on: June 01, 2011, 05:16:33 pm »
Thinking of getting a camera / Lazer detector.

Quite shocked at the number of unmarked police cars stopping drivers.

A bit of a warning would be nice.

So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions before I part with my hard earned on a Snooper 3Zero.

Cheers

Can't really comment on the model your looking at but I believe that laser detectors are banned now, so whilst it will pick up gatsos and other types of cameras it wont pick up the old plod parked on the side of the road printing money.

I'm sure since the lasers were banned you can be fined if found using them on your car.

Detectors aren't illegal but jammers/scramblers are. I bought my mrs  the 3zero last year. It's a good bit of kit but alerts you of everything. Automatic shop doors/traffic lights etc. You can turn these alerts off though, ours is hardly ever used but a friend who has the valentine one uses his on every journey.

Not seen one that picks up unmarked cars yet....that would be perfect for your accomplished bank robber or attacker......
