GTI Kilt
« on: June 01, 2011, 05:34:36 pm »
Hi

Thought i'd share some pictures of my Interlagos kilt - obviously I'm really chuffed with it
It's proper VW cloth and the kilt makers said it was ideal for kiltmaking.
Just need a monza themed sporran now!

Wolfsburg clan
Great story behind it - went to my local kilt maker and told him what I was after expecting him just to laugh or not have a clue what I was on about but as soon as I mentioned the GTI interior his face lite up and he explained he was one of the 1st people to import a MK1 GTI (LHD) from Germany.  So once I got the cloth he made the kilt for free - you gotta love the GTI spirit :happy2:
