R32 Full suspension
« on: March 13, 2009, 08:35:42 pm »
HELP!!!
Ive been offered a full set of R32 suspension, all four shockers, all four springs, all four hubs & two rear arms. They have covered 1800 miles before he upgraded to coils.

I have a couple of questions tho, does the R32 sit any lower than the GTi? If so how much?

Im also presuming they will fit a GTi as well!!??

As i said been offered them for 180 which seems a good price, is there anything else i need to consider?

Thanks for your help already guys!! Sorry if its a silly question!

I don't know for sure but they always seem a bit higher?

The front shocks will also be very different to GTI ones to cope with that heavy lump  :happy2:

As above really, you could seriously mess up your cars handling, that's if it even fits, it may even be the same stuff too, it's not something I have heard about anybody doing, or wanting to do

not suitable at all, the 2 cars are totally different, in fact if u could get it to fit, it would sit higher as the R32 is about 200kgs heavier I think
