RNS510 729B + Blackberry Phonebok
« on: June 03, 2011, 09:52:41 pm »
After a productive couple of hours installing RNS510 and 729B I have hit upon an issue - no phonebook transfer from my Blackberry, it says no user connected and no network but does show signal and I can make calls using it so I have hope!

This seems to suggest that the later firmware causes issues:

Is there a later version that fixes the issue or should I go back to an earlier version -if so what will I lose?

Thanks

PS. £430 for an unused LED rev C RNS510 - result!

I seem to remember that the 729B and Blackberry don't work very well. I may be wrong though.

Maybe there's a helper app like some of the Nokia's have.

I seem to remember Sparky Craig stole my later version Bluetooth kit to use with his BB. I could be wrong.

What Firmware is the RNS?

Blackbury's can be a bit random but the iPhone 4 you mentioned in the thread will work ok.

Have you got a large call list (missed/dialled/received)??  If so try deleting it.

I'm pretty sure Lee (Cocopops) was a BB user and had a 729B from me.
