How have you found the move from a Type R to the Gti?

I can answer mate as an x owner of a s2000.
Power everywhere, turbo rules and of course 5doors and plenty of room for the family.
On the other side, rwd is and will always be awesome and that's the basic difference.

Hey guys sorry about the slow reply been pretty busy!

Thanks for all the replies...

Well I went down to old awesome with my new ED30 to get a stage1 REVO and ended up getting the DSG remap aswell....Car feels so much better!!

Welcome  :happy2:

Anyway to answer the typeR question....Straightline power the ED30 is much better hard getting used to the turbo as compared to Vtec.

Also my typeR had full Coilovers fitted with ARBs and a fast road geometry so handled a lot better...but I will address that issue.  The TypeR was to harsh though and want to maintain a more standard ride in the golf with just Eibachs and ARBs etc!

Anyway will get some pictures up soon!
