Mercedes wheels

Can i fit a set off VW wheels on a Mercedes and vice versa. I have to get my AMG18" refurbished and want to put some wheels on the merc so she isnt on stands.

the merc wheels I looked at before where 5 x 112, but the centre bore size on the mercs was larger than the vw, so would have had to use spiggot rings, so dont theyll fit onto teh hub?
