Tyre, is this OK ?

Its a Tyre thats been in the shed a while and was thinking about selling it, but after cleaning it i noticed a few areas like the between the tread in places ?, is it safe ?, the cracking seems to be only on the very surface of the rubber ?, i was going to sell it but dont want to if its not safe, its a shame if i cant as its a nearly new 18" continental 225-40-18 !!

how many miles has it done? might be worth an email to the maker saying is this normal on a tyre thats only done XXX miles

if it isn't to deep it will be fine...looks like a conti tyre

only about 2k miles, but its not been on an alloy for a while now.

Not deep at all, seems to be just the very outer skin, and yes its a conti

I'd say it was fine and I'd happily use it!

arr thought it was a conti tyre even when they are on the car little cracks appear like that on them its normal with that brand of tyre & michelins do it as well.

Yeh i seem to rememeber they were all like it on the Edition 30, i even though i was over pumping them LOL, so the next question is how much to charge for it ?, loads of tread on it

i sold  some goodyears the same size with 5mm of tread left on them for £40 each
