Paintwork issue

Hi my car seems to have a stone chip that's began to take my lacquer off my nearside rear quarter, been told it's a £300-£400 respray job !!! Anyone else had a similar problem ??? Cheers

Yeah, I've got the same problem but without the stone chip on the coner of the bottom section of the bumper. Very slight though. Took it to VW but they said it's not covered which is annoying.

Has that panel been sprayed before? Looks like a few stone chips in that area and VW paint is normally very hard, and that doesn;t look like the laquer has bonded very well...

same problem here 400 seems a lot just been quoted 250 including coloure codeing the rear bumper by a paint shop who do all the work for my local seat dealer bargain :jumping:

Dirty dirty car, so looks poor, but when I took it for a quote the guy told me it has had a bump at some point. Not happy  :sad1: bad repair !!!

Looks like you have a laser blue aswell? Makes me wander whether it's something with the paint? Never had it on a car before. I have the same issue both on my front wing and now on the roof in varius places. VW shrugged their shoulders, smiled and said it's not their problem! :fighting:
I can't afford to rectify it this year which is bad news.

Fingers crossed I only get the flakin in one area and not any other, I can only afford one spray job, unless I sell a kidney...
