Hey all,

I've recently bought myself a lovely MK5 GTi, which I LOVE! Just wanted to say hello really, I'm looking to get a remap and a full miltek turbo back.

So Hi!

Well I say a miltek full system.

However, do I need to get the full system or can I get away with just getting the turbo down pipe and fitting an induction kit? (I've got a BMC CBA en route)

If you fit a downpipe to the standard cat back you can go straight to stage 2, also a panalfilter or CAI is recommended

See that sounds look a more cost effective way of doing things! I've not overly bothered about noise increase.

I've seen that there is a variety of different downpipes available. Which would you recommend? Regarding the CAI, I was told the the one I've ordered is such a thing (BMC CDA from awesome gti)

or would you recommend another?

I have a miltek downpipe, I'd recommend them or blueflame.

I have a ITG CAI and I couldn't recommend it enough. Not seen your cai on a golf yet I don't think

Got any pictures or links to the ITG?
