LED headlights......

anyone ever used these head lights or anyone on here have any pictures of them on a gti? im sure i saw a silver GTI in glasgow with them but not 100% sure. Thanks  :happy2:

The only time they look ok my eyes is at night. I think it takes away the distinct clean character from the front of the car due to the way the optics dont fill the housing fully.

see am not really that bothered about the optics during the day as i have the standard headlights and to be honest they are not the most attractive headlight! if i had xenons then yes i would say it takes the look away from the front of the car, but the route i am about to go down is keeping the car stealthy, black car, tints, black wheels etc so i think they would look alrite in my opinion, atleast i think anyways

I am also considering new headlights with DRL as a future mod. I have seen those on ebay but wasn't to impressed with the looks.

However I have since found these:

Personally these are the best that I have seen on the internet (apart from ones specifically for LHD).

not really a big fan of them to be honest, theres a silver gti in glasgow that has a set of led's in its headlights but iv never seen them online anywhere

Have you got any more pictures of how these look? Maybe a few night time shot etc? Like i said i am interested in replacing my headlights at some point and would like to see how these look.

Also what is the quality like of the units themselves? Have seen a few with lots of untidy wiring at the back.

They look really good actually. I was a bit unsure about having both "devil eyes" and angel eyes.

Obviously they are not both on all the time - as the photo shows, but can you have one or the other on or are the angel eyes always with the "devil eyes" as sidelights?

The 4 LEDs in each bar are all wired separately as are the rings. At the moment my LED bar is on with the ignition. I'm in the process of changing it so that the LED bar is off when the sidelights or headlights are ok. The top photo is my target, that pic was taken with the sidelights on but the ignition off
