I suspect you may need to use a tap and dies threading tool to get the broken bit out. You will of course have to remove the pump and put it in a vice like VRStu suggested.

I am looking at the banjo bolt and brass connector atm but only seem to have the part number for the banjo bolt, WHT 000 235 C.
Without traction power is nothing!

You might be able to get a flat head screwdriver with a profiled tip in the brass bit thats still in there and turn it out slowly and carefully. That usually works as it wont be tight in there as such

A Tap or Die isn't going to get the broken bit out.

A Die will do nothing as it's for male threads, a Tap will clean up a damaged female thread if you do damage it in the process of getting out the broken part.

Gnna struggle to sleep tbh haven't been this stressed in a very long time  :sad1:

Question is, if I can't get the broken part out, does that mean I'm gonna have to go down the new fuel pump etc done at the dealers route?

On a serious note go to bed take the advice given above, its not the end of the world. You can just reread this thread in the morning when your head is clear and take your time tapping it out, buy the new parts and bobs your uncle. Stressing out over it aint going to do didly so dont.  :happy2:

No it's not 1B as that's the bamboo brass connector that comes with the newer pump. He has an older pump with the banjo bolt.
Without traction power is nothing!

Ah ok. Ye, once its out, easily replaced. Just take time and care removing it and all will be well.

Its unlikely thatd be on the shelf though so itll probably be tuesday before it comes into stock

Ok this is no problem.

More panic will make it worse, just remember its nearly £200 including VAT your playing with and it will help :signLOL:

You need to go and buy a set of eazi outs and a tap wrench.

A tap and die set wont do it you will make it worse and the thread is probably a standard pipe thread or even a special fine thread.

Don't panic, we can help I have a spare pump in bits if you need anything.

If the worst comes to the worst I will try it for you, but you will have to send it to me.

I would suggest getting the rubber pipe version instead of the hard pipe, you can check the cam follower very easily without removing the pipe then.

The guy who sold me my spare pump had another one to so loads of options.

I have all the banjo bits too. I got a fuel pump off here for £90 and swapped it, I rememeber being very stressed about it all!

You can't just swap from the version of pump he has to the rubber pipe version, it requires replacement of the fuel lines too AFAIK.

If time is very important I'd sort out a new pump off here asap and if you don't need it you can always resell it.
