I've got an MDI box, loom and IPhone 6/7 lightning to MDI cable sitting at home doing nothing, if you want to have a play?

Sorted out the error from my front screen washer, sound isolated the airbag trim for the C pillars and then I finaly bought some good Velcro to stick on my Polar-fis box aswell my control module for the OPS system.

Oh yeah, and my active exhaust sound button finally arrived today. So now I can start figuring out how to build the Kufatec Soundbooster PRO button to the new one so it'll look like the button from Audi :) - Cool future I think :D

With the MK5 I wonder why VW thought they would design one of the greatest hatches of all time but give it probably the worst jack in history and also make jack points on the car a complete lottery!  :stupid:

They've used that stupid scissor jack since the MK1

I normally jack up on the biggest bolt of the console bush and then put axles stands on the sill jack points.

How did you sort screen washer error?

I replaced the component in the CECM ... Guess must have been bad or some.

Glad I got it working again, since the weather here in Denmark is terrible these days...

You also have an error code 00897?

Finally got around to fitting some refurbed TRW VW/AG rear calipers with some Pagid disks and pads. Local garage did this as I think job best done by them  :happy2: I finally killed the small budgie tweeting at the back almost constantly at low speed. You should have heard the 'snap' noise from the main bolts holding the old caliper in.

I had to top up the paint with two coats of hammerite smooth red. Wonderful stuff.

Today I fitted this heat shield I made out of a bit of scrap ally and got it powdercoated.
It's a bit rough and isn't perfect, but didn't cost anything.

I also had a go at tinting some spare lights I had also.
Luckily halfords had a can left, but I wanted some red tint too to have a play with colour as I'm after a nice dark cherry red.
