Installed a genuine S3 intercooler, finished just before it got dark. Took it for a spin round the block, as soon as I put my foot down I heard a massive pop/bang and woosh and then I stalled, restarted and managed to get home. A quick look in the dark with a torch the drivers side intercooler pipe has popped off on the stock metal coupling end!? Obviously didn't pay attention to the clip as i took it off..... hopefully will have it sorted tomorrow.

On both the ED30 and CC - changed the pollen filters for a Mann Frecious Plus Cabin filter. Currently £6.99 at ECP with their “sale55” promo code.

Just in time for the start of hay fever season - the Mrs suffers badly with this.

Fitted some 12mm Eibach spacers on the rear - they look pretty sweet now. :happy2:

Well the bank account is a little lighter, new rear springs, new rear pads and top mounts. It feel so much better now.

Listened to the missus say "One of your reverse lights is blown" as I backed the car up.

I did actually get out and check.  I forgot about VW and their generous single reverse and fog light bulbs  :grin:
