went for a run down to Brighton yesterday, saw a blue 56 plate R32 on the way down (young blonde lad driving it), think it was the M25 or it could have been just at the start of the M23 and saw a Black R32 parked on the main road off the promenade.

Decent weather in Brighton though became a bit overcast before we set off. Rained intermittently on the way back but the Rain X i put on the windscreen a month ago is still working well. I've become a re-convert to Rain X

first impressions are very good. damping is excellent, handling much sharper and comfort/ride is no worse, i would even say it was better :surprised:

Fitted Eagle F1 v2 tyres on the rear and moved the PS2s to the front.

They look very odd and that's down to the larger rim protector.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Today did a bit of touch up on my clean car :)

Then got to work on doing a little bit of DIY, sprayed my lower grill glossy black just waiting to see what it looks like in the morning now.

Ye it's fine! Just did it the once as there was a car on the other side! I'll take a proper look under it later in to double check though!

I fitted the R32 tail lights to my GTI. Will post pics in members rides later - amazing how such a subtle change in colour can make a big change to the look of the car.

Agreed! It's so subtle having sport lines or but I think it's perfect without looking to over the top! It's balanced my car off lovely. Was a good first major mod to do  :signLOL:
Just have to remember to go main road way to my mates house as there are about 20 bumps within 2 miles ahah!

I have to do this (slow way down) when turning into a steep drive entrance as mine always needs to lift one leg as I turn in to take a leak or something... ;]
ARB is set stiff.. :happy2:

So, hosepipe ban was lifted where I live today. Gave it a nice thorough clean inside and out so it won't take as long for GTI Inters!:D

Really looking forward to Inters now, going to be on the LVSR trade stand so come and say hello if anyone sees me!:D
