Dropped off the ED30 to have rear tailgate rust spot sorted under warranty, will be glad to get it back as they gave me a girly Golf Cabriolet for courtesy car until friday!  :sad1:

Make sure you keep the roof up, wear shades and a wig while driving it

They look good Billy, glad you're happy with them. :happy2:

I'm actually in the process of getting a few sets of these myself lol.
Are you actually gonna use them though Mandy  :signLOL:

... Might do... :ashamed:

Like Robin always says: It's better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them!  :P

Not sure how long the ones on ebay take to deliver but I'm hoping to have my lot in about 1.5 weeks.

Should've done a group buy lol. :signLOL:

Diagnostic check showed HPFP wasn't giving enough juice!  :surprised: so car left there and no Revo yet! Want to  :fighting: car at mo' after 4 coil packs, new lambda sensor, new DV and now chasing fuel problems.

And I was hoping today would be a "good" car day with Stage 1 Engine and DSG Maps  :driver:

Oh well!! 22k miles (out of total 72k) and first real reliability problems ...

That light bulb I thought was blown turned out that one of the shops it was in after the Nov. wreck had broken the signal and city light plug tabs off both sides. I think they will have to replace both headlights now. I don't think they will be able to replace just the plug sockets behind the H/L assembly, right?

up early, train down to Gillingham and pick up the car from Lepson's. Wheels look great and i can definitely recommend Lepson's for the work they've done and the customer service i received - excellent standard and very friendly. I must have spent 30 mins on Wednesday going through all the options available to me, nearly pulling the trigger on  black chrome two tone only to be over-ruled by the mrs (co-owner of the car and yes i must be under the thumb...  :sad1:) and the (overly) sensible part of my head which said i came for them to be re-done powder coated in silver and that's what i should stick to. Chris is a great chap and i appreciate him listening to me thinking out loud!

I've got them a bit dirty with the drive home and with the rain i doubt i'll get to clean them this weekend so no pictures yet in all honesty they don't look massively different from how they did before only now there's no kerbing on one and the huge gashes D. Head of no manners supplied for me the other month on the rear are completely gone

just the bodywork to sort now and then she'll be back to mint.

Really nice to meet Ashley 'Flashp' and Mrs 'Flashp' today, who came over to pick up my 17" Monzas. Really glad they are going to a good home.  :happy2:

And I got to see Ashley's beautiful Pirelli in Silver, with smoked Pirelli Wheels.     :

Really wish I'd taken a picture, what a cracking motor! (cue this thread is worthless.....)

Went for a couple of drives through the country today. Once early when the heat was up to 90 deg F and then again this evening when it cooled down to 70.
The ol'mkv is running great with the non-ethanol premium fuel I finally found in the next town over from here. Most of the stations here in the Pac NW have 10% ethanol 92oct. The eth/free fuel is noticeably peppier.

Off tomorrow up to AKS to spend another day annoying Alex, whilst he is fitting my WALK and some nice B16's. :) Might need to take the scenic route down all those nice country lanes on the way home.... or I might just go snowboarding after in MK, what with all those nice roundabouts to get used to the new handling.  :driver:
