Changing oil, diy cleaning of the valves (hope to have a vid made), and ordering Hoosier R6's or Hankook Ventus Z214's for the Pacific Waterlands on 9-23-12. I have some sort of strange desire to better my 12.8et's ;]

Drove 550 miles back from a few awesome days at the Nurburgring.

I even managed a 8:38 BTG, don't think that's too shabby for a car that isn't set up for the ring at all and only has minimal mods, back again next year with more mods to try and get faster. :)

Changed the rear door lock module. Been playing up for a while but started to not unlock intermittently. Decided to get it done before it packs up altogether.

Might look a bit more mad than it is but FairPlay, looks like a git of a job!

Did the front not long after I got the car. not a bad job actually. One of the easier ones to do I'd say.

Any guides or part numbers? My drivers side rear door has stopped and I detect one of the doors on the passenger side is starting to play up.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I thought about doing a right up but missed the chance. I could probably do a write up but would be without pics.
