Finally finished fitting my RNS 510, new can gateway and multifunction steering wheel. Updated the RNS with 4120 and V9 maps. All coded and running spot on. Well happy with it all!

Also ordered a cam follower, remote/key badge, oil and filter for the next change.I keep meaning to get a new key fob badge and battery. It's still on the original battery any it will end up running out on me soon My batteries are still original as well...since Nov. '06 ;]I don't know why I waited so long to replace the long lost fob badge. ;( It only cost me $8 usd I get all of my parts from the VW dealer at employee cost. IDKW? Must be because I give them so much work to do, right? They pretty much did all of the work on my MKV to date, and since there is only one (really good) mechanic on duty, I can always trust it being done right every time.I'm happy that the Golf R has my engine in it with a K04. When/if my K04 goes bad i should get it for a really fair price, yes? ..that is if it is the proper spooler.

My turbo has potentially started making a "ho" sound following a gear change. Only happened in second and third. Doesnt do it when reving in neutral. Otherwise, washed it.
