.
Drove a spirited 66 miles on fast country A-roads in coastal East Devon to visit a garden centre. Had a biker friend riding shotgun who is cool about spirited driving. First outing for my car in 10 days.

....*cough* 23.5 mpg and a very big grin. In fact I'm grinning now, just thinking about it. A375 > A3052 > A358 - Old-fashioned two-way A-roads but resurfaced and with lots of ups and downs and bends but mostly very good visibility ahead  :notworthy: I stick rigidly to the 30mph village limits though and just shift gear to D for them.

I will be doing this in the next few weeks. Should have my plateless grill on Monday (already have the magnets/epoxy/felt) :happy2:

Currently have pressed plates so might have to put some spacers under the magnets to ensure it sits far enough away from the grill.
