@ graeme:

I think they are 330 x 28 mm (CP5200 kit). AP now offer their own pads which are reckoned to be better than the Ferodo DS2500. I've now got them on mine.

I hope this helps. You won't be disappointed with the AP's - Well proven and reliable  :happy2:

I got the BCS brakes that are also 330mm 4 pots and look identical to the ap brakes. Was kind of sceptical about them looking a little small at first but they are bigger than i thought if yours are 330mm  :signLOL:

What did I and my car do today? - Yesterday I took my car to the local jet wash - The kind with the handheld jet hose from a machine you stick a £1 coin in.

BEFORE - Surprising how the OZ titanium colour still looks okay when filthy (IMO):

AFTER - Just a handheld jet rinse, no brushing or cleaning:

My car attracts a lot of attention - All very positive. I was approached and the car admired by no less than 3 different people while there.
as you say red they look as good dirty as clean, very useful with the roads the way they are just now, I like the pressure washers that run with a pound at a time as you don't have to bolt round the car like the normal ones,,, hate the normal ones.

Fitted my front and rear Eibach anti roll bars

Front was alot easier than I thought it was going to be. Getting it aligned on Friday so finally get the chance to see what a difference, coilovers, polly bushes, WALK and anti roll bars make

what size of brakes are you running RR ? they look good but i was sure that you had vw racing brakes on yours?  :happy2:

....I probably would have had VWR brakes if I hadn't been offered the AP's by them back in 2006. Size? Dunno without a search (will search if you would like to know, mate) but they just fit the Monza 17's:

The OZ Alleggerita 18's are very lightweight and designed to maximise the brake ventilation/heat dissipation - I'm not fussed if the discs look small inside the wheel.

AP racing fronts plus S3/R32 rears (Thanks, DaveB!) are a very powerful and well balanced combo for fast road use on my Stage 2 K03 GTI.

Nearly 7 year old brakes though Robin!!!

Don't you think it's about time you bought a newer set-up....and sell me the AP's???

....Nice try, Carlo!

The discs and pads aren't 7 years old and the brakes have just as much stopping power as 7 years ago. So if it ain't broke, don't mend it.  :happy2:

Just hurt my baby  :sad1:

Didn't see a flood on a dark light a road!

Did a 360 and hit a mud verge!

So I'm in need of a front splitter

Luckily only the middle section of my standard front splitter came off,

If anyone knows of one around I have funds waiting!

Not a good experience :sad1:

Just didn't see it! Wasn't going to quick only 40-50

Car just needs a good clean new front splitter and click the back bumper on a tad and its all ok! Could have been a lot worse was Inches away from a sign and trees

left it on the drive and took the Fabia for a run
how do you find the difference in the 2 cars ?

The Fabia is tweaked as far as the std car will go - 189bhp & 333 lb/ft. It's a good bit quicker in the gears, and handles so much better. But I sold it today! Gives me £3000 to spend on other things!!!

I've got one of the xenon-look Depo headlights & my sidelights are down beside the indicators. So I thought I'd replace the std side light bulbs with orange ones! Instant USA look! Pics tomorrow, it's a bit dark now!
