I thought there wasn't any difference in height / rolling distance between 16, 17, 18 rims because the tyre profile compensates?  Assuming the +- 2% rule http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm
didnt know that, is that right ???
between a set of 15s and 18s is the actual car the same height of the road ?
if thats right i didnt know that

Actually all you care about is the circumference of the wheel/tyre. :happy2:

Yep circumference should always stay the same whatever wheel size. The bigger the wheel the lower the profile of the tyre and vice versa. Car is set up for specific size and if that is not correct the speedo reading will be out.

Went to Tescos with my 5L pressure sprayer filled with VP Citrus pre wash. First time ive used the prewash, sprayer and pressure wash at Tesco.

Filled the pressure sprayer with pre wash diluted to about 1:10.

There was a guy already rinsing in the car when i got there so i used the time to spray the car with the pre wash. Car fully covered. Drove into the wash bay, ready to rinse. As i got out, a Tesco employee was picking up rubbish with his telescopic litter picker thing, grabbed a sponge that was on the floor and offered it to me... I recoiled in horror  as though he was offering me a used condom  and i politely declined.

Car rinsed with cold water - it took me two goes (so paid £2 in all) to rinse the car fully. Will try and improve my technique to get the car rinsed in one go.

Although the car isnt spotless, the vast majority of the crap is off as is a lot of the road salt... Not bad for £2 and 15mins work.

Drove 600 miles round trip to greenwich from sunderland to pick up some 3SDM 005 wheels from James with my brother (wheels are for him)

only to discover that after 10 or so miles the wiper wash died.

the rear wiper for a little while was only coming out a little then after about 5 seconds of holding the rear wash it would come out faster.

then the fronts decided to die on me completely. they spluttered out for the first wash and the subsequent attempts were futile! the pump sounds but no water. maybe a pipe has come off? got home at 8, watched top gear will have a look in the morning to see if i can see anything but im hoping its not a front bumper off jobbie!

also, i had to buy a bottle of water to shower the screen with once we stopped to swap drivers at the services!  :signLOL:
