Is the D-valve still available?
Do you mean do I still have the revision d valve?

So new wheels STILL haven't turned up. Dpd said something about them being split up and sent to different parts of the country. They are going to be epic when they arrive.

These are the two huge holes, on a 70 mph road, that still are unfilled:

Been collecting lots of different car parts aswell and have been a regular customer at Twickenham VW, who i have to say are very good (well for a dealer!). Alistair in parts is spot on.
Ill update my build thread soon but there are major plans! :p

No..I meant "is the version-D dv still available?" I haven't paid much attention, but there has been some discussion about the new version not being as good as the D-version was/is.

^^^^ It's the other way round.  :happy2:

The Revision D Diverter Valve has been shown to leak under boost, the newer Revision G (back to the old diaphragm design) is stronger and doesn't.

Fitted a new PCV valve today and also the new revision G diverter valve, car is now smoother, quieter and the idle is rock steady.

Also got rid of the airbag lights with my new vcds after fitting Recaro seats. Quite a productive morning I say!! :star:

Keeping it original..............or not!!

Finally got round to fitting the chrome tip switches and build plaque. The only one I didn't fit was the fuel cap release as I cba to take the door card off.

Did mine last week, inc the fuel filler switch, wasn't too har to take the door card off. Also I just left the door lock wire attached so a bit easier to put back on.

Nice subtle mod to improve the look of the interior :happy2:

Gave it its first clean since DMR. And at some point in the next three hours, some frikkin bird shat over it!  :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Have you got a price and part number for the protective strip?
